Busi Group spreads its activities and news using different communication channels. In this section you will find articles published in newspapers, magazines, magazines, portals and websites.
During Ecomondo 2022, Busi Group - a leading Italian company in complete solutions for waste collection, compaction and transport - presented to its partners and authorised service centres the Busigroup Service plan, the innovative automotive-style approach to assistance that is unique in the waste management sector. The existence of an official and widespread service network has always been a fundamental element in guiding purchasing decisions, but now it is becoming even more so, as technology has become an integral part of solutions for waste collection, compaction and transport and the market is evolving, with the entry of new players, new forms of sales and rental, and requires a structured approach to everything related to after-sales service management, ranging from scheduled maintenance to spare parts and assistance
Busi Group - a leader in complete solutions for the collection, compaction and transport of waste - from the stage of Ecomondo 2022 presented its electric solutions: on display at the stand were the latest fittings with Mercedes, an eEconic fitted with OMB's Legend E rear system and an eActros fitted with MEC model SLK 266 roll-off equipment. But the big news for 2022 was that in the outside test area at the west entrance, in cooperation with Volvo and Renault partners, there was the opportunity to test drive and see two Busi solutions on the move: the Volvo FE Electric fitted with OMB's Legend E system and the Renault D Wide ZE fitted with MEC's SLK 266 roll-off equipment.
Three companies, BTE, MEC and OMB Technology, united in a single Group for the production of roll-on roll-off compactors, stationary compactors, roll-off equipment and waste collection equipment.
More than 129 million euros in sales in 2021, a 40 per cent increase in turnover in the first half of 2022 compared to the same period of the previous year, and three companies with approximately 450 employees - MEC, BTE and OMB Technology - specialising in the manufacture of roll-on roll-off compactors, stationary compactors, roll-off equipment, skip loaders and waste collection equipment. These are the highlights of the Busi Group of Paitone, in the province of Brescia. The Brescia-based company, which was able to count on good international growth in the post-pandemic period, also faced the second half of 2022 with dynamism, on which the increases in raw materials and energy costs weighed heavily. However, the impact was mitigated by the introduction of photovoltaics, the result of a forward-looking strategy, as the three owners, Mirko, Diva and Giuseppe Busi, explain.
The domestic market is our strength, but our solutions are growing and are also very much appreciated abroad,' the Busi brothers emphasise. 'Omb can count on a historical presence in South America, which we have decided to relaunch with the foundation of the Omb Latam office in Santiago de Chile. Then we are working very well in Europe - in particular Spain, France and Switzerland - and something is moving in the Mediterranean and in the East, thanks also to the identification of structured local partners.
The 2021 consolidated financial statements of the Busi Group - a leading Italian reality in complete solutions for the collection, compaction and transport of waste, with headquarters in Paitone - regarding the four companies of the group - Busi Group (holding), BTE, OMB Technology and MEC - certifies a fast-growing reality that has reached record values: revenues exceed 129 million euros (129 million 85,888 euros), up 44% on 2020. The brothers Mirko, Diva and Giuseppe Busi have also invested heavily in international activities in recent years and are now reaping the rewards: foreign turnover accounts for around 20% of the total, the aim is to double it in the next few years.
The new zero-emission, all-electric vehicle to be used for waste collection was presented to citizens by Garda Uno in Piazza della Vittoria in Salò. If the experimentation yields the expected results, the multi-utility headed by Mario Bocchio will be the first in Italy to be equipped with such a vehicle thanks to the agreement signed by Garda Uno with Renault Italia and Bte (Busi Group), the Paitone company headed by the Busi family.
Environmental sustainability applied to waste collection services. An electric truck compatible with several different types of waste containers, has been presented in Salò.
If the experimentation yields the expected results, Garda Uno will be the first in Italy to acquire a zero-emission, all-electric roll-off vehicle. The experimentation stems from an agreement signed by Garda Uno, Renault Italia and BTE (Busi Group), the well-known Paitone company led by the Busi family.
Innovation for the streets of Brescia with Aprica.
Less noise and less pollution for those living in Brescia. And also much more comfort for those who drive them. The fleet of refuse collection vehicles in Brescia has been enriched with a valuable piece, a fully electric Volvo truck with a capacity of 25 cubic metres ready to take the waste produced by the residents of the city and province.
Silent and ecological because it is completely electric. This is the new rear-loading, 25 cubic metre capacity compactor that the Busi Group has customised for Aprica and which will be running pro-forma for a month on the streets of the city and the province, to come into full service for a year, starting in 2023
Busi Group, the leading group in the solutions for collection, compaction and transport of waste , announces major orders from Spain and the United Arab Emirates. Revenues at € 129 million (+44%). Profit rises to € 7.6 million.

Busi Group, which provides waste management solutions, has invested over 1.5 million in a degraded area
One and a half million euros for the new Busi Group company building in Paitone: first the ribbon-cutting ceremony, then the new canteen service for employees - at least 150 meals a day on three shifts, provided by Zanardelli Catering, with an open kitchen - and the finishing touches to the new changing rooms and a room dedicated to training, the first step in a future Academy for the use of latest-generation machinery.

One of the most curious, as well as the only, set-ups at Ecomondo 2021 was the one made for Barcelona Municipal Council on an Irizar electric bus. "It's a collaboration born in 2018 with the Spanish FCC Medio Ambiente (almost 400 million euros in turnover) that involved the national people mover factory to modify a bus and exploit its chassis for one of our side-load compactors," explains Juri Palazzi manager of Brescia-based Busi.
